Helsinki tram at Ruoholahti

This morning, for a change, I came to work by tram. I walked from Hakaniemi round Tokoinranta, through the Linnunlaulu villas and round the top of Töölönlahti, then caught the number 8 tram outside the Opera house and rode it through Töölö to Ruoholahti. Much more interesting than the metro, but it did take 45 minutes rather than the metro’s 10.

James, Stu & I went to see I, Robot (somewhat disappointing, despite our low expectations). Now we’re having a couple of beers in Teerenpeli.

It’s board games evening again, this time at Michael & Kim’s.

Other games played included Evo and Bang!.

The next board games evening will be on Tuesday 26th October, at our place in Hakaniemi. And soon after that it’ll be time for Helcon III (Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th November).

We’re in William K, a pub in our local Kallio district, celebrating Annemari’s move to Helsinki.
